Senior Commissioning Engineer
Salary: £35k-£40K + Benefits

Autoflame Engineering is the world leader in combustion management & control systems for industrial boiler/burner applications with a reputation for quality and innovation. Due to ongoing development and expansion, Autoflame require a Senior Commissioning Engineer with a history of employment within the Industrial boiler/burner industry and who is able to demonstrate a proven knowledge of a wide range of industrial heating systems and industrial steam plant.

A high level of initiative is expected along with a flexible attitude in order to accommodate customer’s needs, i.e. early mornings, shut downs, weekends, holiday periods etc and the ability to manage their own time. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and flexible approach to fault finding in an industrial boiler room environment.

The candidate is expected to meet the following criteria: 


Must have ACS qualifications COCN 1, CCP1, CIGA 1

Suitable industry qualifications, HND/ONC or equivalent NVQ/C&G.

Experience on industrial steam boilers systems

Electrically qualified Competent in electrical fault finding and boiler controls

Competent with commercial and industrial pipe work installation

Competent in Health & Safety procedures i.e. Method Statements & Risk Assessments

Ability to work on their own in unfamiliar surroundings and to develop and be part of a successful team

Willing to be part of a Call Out Rota for emergencies and to assist other engineers when necessary

Good customer skills, capable of building relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

Excellent written and communication skills

This position would also require work throughout the UK and some overseas work subject to experience, knowledge of Autoflame systems is not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a permanent, professional appointment working within the Autoflame Contracts & Service Department. Excellent prospects. Salary offered is subject to experience.
